Is the 1911 too big to conceal carry?

How you are planning on carrying the 1911 pistol, whether in an OWB or IWB holster could also determine the ease of carrying the 1911. In an IWB you need some extra room in your belt to allow for the larger frame pistol and consequently larger holster to account for the frame size. 

The 1911 Magazine

Your standard 1911 magazine is 7 rounds and is a fairly heavy magazine when fully loaded. The Magholder uses a friction fit along with the insert retention slot on the magazine. Utilizing both of these the magazine stays securely in the horizontal magazine pouch without falling out. However the magazine can quickly be retrieved when needed.
