Mag Holder for Springfield Magazines

The Magholder has been the mag pouch of choice for Springfield pistol owners! Legendary pistols like the XDS 9 magazines, XDS 45 magazines, 1911 magazines, XD and XD-m magazines, 1911 EMP magazines and the new SA-35 magazines are all supported with a quality and top rated spare mag pouch from Magholder.

The Magholder is a high temperature and high impact nylon similar to a rifle stock. Extremely durable and near break proof this new version has been designed with state of the art technology.

Mag Pouch for EDC

The Magholder is designed to be worn horizontally. Magazine carriers keep you prepared by providing an additional magazine with extra ammunition, as well as an additional magazine in case of a firearm jam or malfunction. This mag holder has been designed to keep your spare magazine concealed along your belt and within arms reach in sitting or standing positions. Upgrade your EDC by concealing your spare mag to blend in with your belt.

Orientation of your Magholder

Configurable options include Left or Right orientation, referring to which hand you will use to grab your spare magazine. Typically, the shooter reaches for their spare mag with the support hand, sweeping it out of the magazine holster either to the rear from the weak side, or from across the front midline in a crossdraw motion. Both positions are extremely fast but the crossdraw position allows access to the magazine from a sitting position, such as in a vehicle or theater seat.

If you are a right handed shooter, you will likely grab your spare mag with your left hand, and thus, use the "Left Side to the Rear" version MagHolder.

If you are left handed, you will likely grab your spare magazine with your right hand, or the "Right Side to the Rear" version MagHolder.

There are many positions on the belt the MagHolder can be worn, so be imaginative and don't hesitate to contact us at store@magholder.com with any questions. Or check out our "Do I need a right hand or left hand version?" article. If you have special requirements, like bullets pointing upwards, or wearing the MagHolder behind your back, shoot us a message and we will respond quickly!

Very nice

I now have 2, one for my Glock 43X with Shield Arms magazine 15rd, and now one for my Springfield Hellcat Pro. Comfortable, concealable, and now part of my EDC as well. I highly recommend these products.

First time buyer

So far so good. Been using the mag holder every day. I have to say it is very comfortable and secure. Keeps my spare magazine exactly where I want it and within easy reach. I plan on ordering another for my 1911.

Update on previous review

To update everyone on my previous review:

I received my replacement Magholder for my Mod-2 today. As expected, the retention works perfectly. Snaps into place, and I gave it several vigorous shakes with a full mag with no failure of the retention.

Thanks again, Magholder for standing by your products. 5 star product. 10 star staff.

Awesome product, better customer service.

The first Magholder I bought was for my Sig Sauer. It’s well built, comfortable, and easily concealed. As summer approached, I decided to get one for my Springfield Mod-2. Same as the Sig, it’s well built, comfortable, and easily concealed. The problem was, the retention didn’t work. The mag wouldn’t go deep enough into the Magholder to allow the retention to grab the mag.

I sent an email to the customer service department, and promptly got a response. We talked back and fourth over the next few days, trying to convey what the issue was. After several emails, and a phone call, the amazing folks at Magholder had the issue figured out, and tossed a new Magholder for my Mod-2 in the mail.

I have become a life long costumer. They not only have awesome products, but they stand by them, and are willing to correct any issues. That type of service is disappearing in this day and age. It’s nice to have a company that values it’s costumers. Thank you Magholder.

Not ready for Prime Time!

Comfortable - YES, Concealable - not really, Holds the clip well - Too much so!, Easy to insert clip - Nope! (I will modify the design of the retention tab to make it easy to insert AND still retain the clip. Overall, the MAGHOLDER is a MEH! Just my opinion. It's somewhat like flies in a Fly Shop: They catch fisherman; not necessarily fish! Great concept with marginal execution.

Hello, we wish you would have reached out to us about any issues you might be having. We will be sending you an email so we can resolve this. Ultimately we want to retain the magazine just enough to allow for it to be retrieved just a little better. Luckily for us our execution is much higher then marginal when looking at our return customer rate! Those fisherman just keep coming back!
